For decades, farmers have been producing and supplying crops through manual labor, but modern technology has advanced harvesting processes. CHS Grain, a global agribusiness committed to creating connections to empower agriculture, needed an outside source to keep up with production in Brandon and Worthing, South Dakota.
They called our partners at Interstate Power Systems— a leading distributor of high-quality power products for agriculture and other segments—to provide an outside power source to continue the harvest. Interstate Power Systems supplied Atlas Copco QAS 200, QAS 250 and QAS 330 generators to run the conveyors to unload corn and beans to outside storage.
The QAS line of portable diesel generators are dependable, heavy-duty units designed to be portable and powerful for any task. The secluded, Midwest elds were no challenge to the generators. The QAS series brought power to the conveyer belts to keep business moving without interruption.
