Eliminate stations
Virtual Stations
The more that can be done at any single station on a line the better. If that leads to fewer total stations on the line, you may really see a boost in production. The PowerFocus 6000 can make that happen by decreasing the number of controllers needed and increasing the number of different tools available at any station.
Each PF6000 controller can run up to six different tools. Each tool runs on a Virtual Station, one of six software-based virtual controllers residing on any single hardware controller. Each tool works independently and can have its own accessories (stack lights, socket selectors, etc.) and communicate with production and data collection systems (fieldbus, open protocol, ToolsNet). All tools can run simultaneously.
