Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in third to fifth grades develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness.

The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event. With the largest 5K series by number of events in the world, Girls on the Run hosts more than 330 5Ks per year inspiring all girls to build confidence and make intentional decisions, while fostering care and compassion for self and others. Trained coaches use physical activity and dynamic discussions to build social, emotional and physical skills in every girl while encouraging healthy habits for life.

“The support of Atlas Copco is making such an impact and we are so grateful for all you do to help us with our mission to inspire girls to their limitless potential.” Said Lindy Morris, Executive Director, Girls on the Run Tri County SC.

Atlas Copco is supporting this event as part of their community based CHARROCK program which supports great, local initiatives across the Rock Hill and Charlotte region. Learn more about this event and Girls on the Run at www.gotrtricountysc.org.
