Avoid unexpected downtime with fuel level sensor
March 30, 2018
With the installation of fuel level sensors on their tanks, Atlas Copco Rental Europe provides customers with a tool to prevent downtime due to unexpected fuel shortage. The sensor measures the absolute pressure in the tank and sends out warnings to supervisors and end-customers when predefined levels are reached. This telemetry system will not only help to prevent future downtime, but as a result, it also reduces costs and improves sustainability.
- Transport-related CO2 emissions will be lower since meter-reading trips occur less often;
- Planning refueling schedules can be optimized;
- A detailed visualization of customer’s consumption is available.
