When building a new plant, you might come across unforeseen challenges. This was also the case for a leading company in the food and beverage industry in Spain. They faced a delay in building their new plant: when testing the steam lines didn’t go smoothly because of issues with the gas supply line. Thanks to our 3 t/h steam boiler, the delay was short-lived.

When the sugar producer Saint Louis Sucre had to deal with technical issues, Atlas Copco Rental came to the rescue. The main challenge was to deliver a sufficient number of boilers to supply the 45 tons/hour steam capacity and to reach the maximum service pressure of 25barg to minimize the steam pipes diameter.

Two bubble curtains were installed in the Northern Lock in IJmuiden, the Netherlands, to curb the salinization of the North Sea Canal. To create these bubble curtains, which generate an air flow with 100% oil-free compressed air (ISO 8573-1 CLASS 0), Rijkswaterstaat, SPIE and Van Doorn Geldermalsen BV collaborated with Atlas Copco Rental.
