Chicago Pneumatic Helps Porsche GT Owners Raise Money for Cystic Fibrosis

May 7, 2018

Chicago Pneumatic, international manufacturer of industrial and automotive tools, applauds Smokies GT Porsche owners for raising nearly $200,000 for Cystic Fibrosis at their spring 2018 driving event in Atlanta. Chicago Pneumatic was honored to donate a 1" torque wrench for the Smokies GT gathering and auction. The donation of the CP8925 was just one part of the charity auction of Porsche GT-related items to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, during a weekend gathering of Porsche GT owners at the Porsche Experience in Atlanta, the Atlanta Motorsports Park, and the Ridges Resort & Marina in Hiawassee, Georgia. The CP8925 is a one-of-a-kind torque wrench known for its long-lasting accuracy and reliability working in restricted spaces -- perfect for high-performance engines. It is a perfect fit for Porsche drivers gathered at the Smokies GT event, who have a passion for driving. Raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation "makes it worthwhile for an amazing cause, and making kids smile," said Mayur Malde, one of the group's founders. The Porsche GT drivers started getting together five years ago, and were inspired to raise money for CFF after a friend's two children were diagnosed with CF. Chicago Pneumatic is happy to do a small part to help Smokies GT raise money to help kids diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis live healthier lives. Check out the video below:
