Chicago Pneumatic launches its first high durability and low maintenance pneumatic nutrunner: the CP66 series
Chicago Pneumatic launched its first compact and robust pneumatic nutrunner, the CP66 series. It’s perfect for flange-related and other bolting applications in the oil & gas, power generation, and wind energy industries. It also provides a more durable, powerful and safe alternative to an impact wrench in remanufacturing, maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations within the mining, off-road and heavy-truck sectors.
Chicago Pneumatics’ new CP6613 weighs as little as 9.7 lbs. (4.4 kg) with the reaction arm. Small but powerful, the CP6613 is equipped with a robust gearbox and a high performance air motor, similar to the industrial impact wrench motors. It delivers a powerful 960 ft.lbs (1300 Nm) in forward or reverse torque for high productivity. The max torque of CP6641 is 3100 ft.lbs (4100 Nm).
Operator comfort is an integral part of this new pneumatic nutrunner’s design, therefore, the CP66 series is recognized to have a vibration level close to zero. The torque set-up is defined with the CP Air Torque Control FRL which enables an extremely fine pressure adjustment.
