Once you have operated your GA FLX for 1000 hours, you will automatically receive an energy consumption analysis on your Elektronikon controller and via SMARTLINK. This will include a calculation of how much you can save by switching to VSD. This analysis is not based on general assumptions or average savings. Instead, it is based on your actual operation of your dual-speed GA FLX.

2. The one-click VSD upgrade

If and when you are ready to upgrade from dual-speed to full VSD functionality, you simply sign up for a license by using the QR code on the Elektronikon display or the contact button in SMARTLINK. Atlas Copco will execute the VSD upgrade for you on your GA FLX. This is done fully remotely, as the upgrade license is securely pushed “over the air” via SMARTLINK on to the Elektronikon. That means no service intervention is required, unless you prefer an on-site visit by one of our service technicians.

3. Enjoy up to 50% energy savings

Because VSD technology matches the motor speed of your GA FLX to your air demand, you virtually eliminate transient and unload losses. Your result: up to 50% energy savings and a much-reduced total cost of ownership
