Summer season in jeopardy
The picturesque camping village, nestled near Venice in the Veneto region of Italy, was eagerly awaiting the start of the 2024 summer season. The excitement turned to apprehension, however, when the fire department raised the alarm over the existing firefighting setup's non-compliance. Italian legislation necessitated a dedicated firefighting room, posing a challenge for customer as their current arrangement was housed alongside other machinery in the same room.
Rapid rental response
With the opening set for April 18, 2024, and their newly ordered firefighting setup delayed until May, customer urgently required a rental partner. In a race against time, the company turned to Atlas Copco for a temporary solution. Our team carefully selected two diesel-driven high head pumps (PAC H 43 C) and one electric-driven unit (JE 1-180) to pressurize all required pipes, ensuring operational excellence as well as compliance with fire safety regulations.

With the rented pumps installed just a day before the opening, customer effectively circumvented the regulatory hurdles and safety concerns flagged by the fire department.
