Tushara Industries Bangalore testimonial

How a metal fabricator in Bengaluru improved finish and cut power consumption

With the right choice of compressors, Bengaluru-based Tushara Industries was able to save on energy use, as well as improve finish and manpower utilization
Tushara Indusrties Bengaluru success story

We have been using Atlas Copco 18KW high pressure compressors from the past 8 months and we are very satisfied with the performance of the compressor and we are getting a good finish as well.

Nanda Kumar Gangaiah,
General Manager, Tushara Industries

Tushara Industries has been using one compressor (13 bar) for one year and the other compressor (16 bar) for the past eight months. The 13 bar compressor is used for cutting thickness upto 8mm SS and 2mm MS. The 16 bar compressor is used for cutting thickness upto 16mm SS and 6mm MS.

The customer remarks, "In 16 bar we have really good finish. We can eliminate grinding and we are getting a good quality. As a result manpower utilization is good and we are able to take up good production and time and energy is saved with the 16 bar compressor."

In the run up to purchase of the 16 bar compressor from Atlas Copco, the customer had taken other manufacturers into consideration and saw a difference when it came to consumption of power. The Atlas Copco compressor saved the customer 4-5 kW compared to the other brands. "So we are able to save energy and we're thankful Atlas Copco for supporting this," concludes Nanda Kumar Gangaiah.
