Atlas Copco (Thailand) join hand with BRR conduct a customer seminar on energy efficiency in compressed air

Regarding the current situations whether COVID-19 pandemic and economic crisis, Sanjay Safaya, Regional General Manager of compressor technique from Atlas Copco (Thailand) decided to organize a customer seminar in the south part of Thailand to sharing compressed air knowledge about energy efficiency and update our new innovative by showing the physical products to our customers. The purpose of this seminar is to help entrepreneurship reduce production costs in their plants effectively.

The seminar was divided into 4 parts as the following:

1. Energy-saving techniques with VSD technology to increase the efficiency of industrial production processes.  Nutteerut Supraphon, product specialist of Atlas Copco, suggested the way to select the right air compressor and how to install air compressor efficiency. This will help to consume less power, more energy-saving and also extend the lifetime as well. Moreover, he also introduced the air compressor control system (Equalizer 4.0 or EQ) and SMARTLink system that allows monitoring of air compressors online.

2. New technology update by Mr. Kasem Orsantinuchsakul , product specialist of Atlas Copco, introduced the Oil-free air compressor technology, The AQ eliminates the risk of contamination with 100% oil-free air for applications that require the highest levels of purity like medical, pharmaceutical production, food production, critical electronics. With an ISO-8573-1 CLASS 0 (2010) certified compressor, you can ensure that it is safe for your business.

3. The technology of on-site industrial gases. Teerasut Piyawongwattana, product specialist of Atlas Copco suggested the industries where generate their own nitrogen including chemical manufacturing, electronics, laser cutting or food and beverage.  Compared to the on-demand delivery of gas bottles or tanks, on-site production of gas offers a cost savings than using liquid or bottled gas.

4. Preventive maintenance and energy auditing in compressed air systems. Burachat Sukprajun, product specialist of Atlas Copco, has suggested that if the compressors are running while not being manufactured, the compressed air system is leaking. Which is a natural waste of energy This can be done using the AIRScan, an innovative air compressor specifically used to detect leaks in compressed air systems.
