GI South East Asia Distributor Conference in Phuket
On 21 & 22 June 2018, GI South East Asia hosted 25 people from 11 distributors across Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and Philippines at Centara Grand Beach Resort, Phuket for their Annual Distributor Conference.
On day 1, Didier Marly (GM – ACTA South East Asia), Olivier Vlaeminck (VP Sales & Marketing Asia) and Kok Che Tham (BLM – GI South East Asia) presented their key messages and follow by the ACoE segment managers sharing industry trends and new opportunities to all. The ACTA Sales Engineer from each country also shared their business and some success stories. A workshop was subsequently done to get feedback and ideas from the distributors on how to improve the working relationship with Atlas Copco as well as how to grow the business together. The day then end with teambuilding activities and a group dinner which was fun and encourages plenty of teamwork between the Atlas Copco team with the distributors.
On Day 2, four stations were set up to showcase all of our latest products and solutions. The Low Reaction Tools & SQS were launched and being presented as part of the Atlas Copco Smart Connected Assembly Solutions. The Service team also took the opportunity to present their new Service Products using the Virtual Reality setup. The event was a great success with excellent feedback from those who participated. Great job by all involved AC staff and great support by the ACoE team making this event a success, and a big “THANK YOU” to our distributors for their time and participation!
