Atlas Copco (Thailand)., Ltd. conducted “Water For All” Press Conference 2022
at Busabong Room, Sukhothai Hotel & Resort Sathorn Road, Bangkok
On Thursday, March 10, 2022 - Atlas Copco (Thailand) Co., Ltd. held a press conference on the “Water For All” project for 2022 at Busabong Room, Sukhothai Hotel & Resort Sathorn Road, Bangkok. Under strictly preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
The “Water For All” project is the Atlas Copco Group’s corporate social responsibility, a main community engagement project. It is guided by the principle that clean water is a human right and the foundation for better lives. Through voluntary employee donations, Atlas Copco Thailand supports the Water for All project by double financial has provided clean drinking water and sanitation to close to 2 million people and supports projects worldwide.
“Water For All” is very close to the hearts of our employees. We believe that everyone has the right to access clean water, whether drinking water or sanitation. But according to research, there are still many people worldwide lacking access to safe water service. We want to help these people access clean water, have good hygiene, and better quality of life.
For this year, 2022, we will improve the water supply system and build a water tank at 3 villages in Chiang Rai province, Ban Mae Tar Charng, Ban Bartar and Ban Ruamjai.
On this occasion, we were honored to have Ms.Cecilia Sandberg – Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer of Atlas Copco, Ms. Anna Jakenberg Brinck – Deputy Head of Mission of Embassy of Sweden, Sanjay Safaya – General Manager of Atlas Copco Thailand, and Horst Wasel, VP – Holdings for SEA and Oceania to opening remarks and presided over the opening ceremony of the “Water For All” project.
Finally, we appreciated all the media for their interest in our CSR project (Water For All project), also our Atlas Copco colleagues who have contributed to the Water for All project. Atlas Copco promises that we will never stop helping our people and the environment. We are committed to keep improving access the clean water to people all around the world.
