Atlas Copco UK is headquartered in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, and provides high quality air compressors, industrial vacuum pumps, industrial gas generators, power tools and air, power and flow solutions, as well as service plans, through its business areas: Compressor Technique, Vacuum Technique, Industrial Technique and Power Technique. Founded in 1919, the UK customer centre is the oldest Atlas Copco customer centre in continuous operation, outside Scandinavia. The customer centre in the UK is headquartered in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire and celebrates its centenary in 2019.

The Compressor Technique business area in the UK specialises in the sales, marketing, distribution, and maintenance of air compressors and industrial gas equipment. More than 50 sales engineers, product and technical support engineers, as well as customer support take good care of UK customers when it comes to buying air compressors and gas equipment and their aftermarket service and maintenance. The operations are supported by a network of reliable distributors throughout the country. A dedicated team of engineers in our service division works together with distributors, so that more than 200 service engineers can ensure 24/7 service and parts support for any brand of compressed air installation on any UK site. Atlas Copco UK is the home of a world class engineering competence centre, Systems Hemel Hempstead, which specialises in the design and assembly of custom-made compressed air and nitrogen generation packages and modules. Atlas Copco Compressors supports UK industry, not only by providing high quality air products, but also by employing diverse people with both engineering and non-engineering backgrounds and ensuring their continuous training and development, unique career opportunities and attractive working conditions.

In the UK, Atlas Copco’s Power Technique offers a core portfolio of products including portable compressors, generators, light towers and pumps along with dedicated construction products including handheld pneumatic, electric and hydraulic tools. In addition, it continues to provide products and customised solutions for drilling, oil and gas and geothermal exploration applications, among many others. Working in partnership with a dealer network, the Power Technique business area operates a dedicated service division to ensure customers get the most from their Atlas Copco products.
