Within the New Business Technology department, we are looking for an Application Engineer to expand our Hydrogen and Steam Task Force.

This team is responsible for developing and maintaining new compression technologies for Hydrogen and Steam applications. Developments can be starting from a blank paper to upgrading current products as well as searching for innovations together with the R&D-cell and external parties.

The team oversees the entire process from research, design, testing and operations, up to customer delivery.

In this exciting role, you:

  • Analyze and process customer requests with respect to gas applications, from a technical point of view
  • Bring the gas application knowledge of the task force to the next level, by diving into existing, evolving and rising technologies in the gas industry
  • Collaborate closely with the AGA and OFA divisions, in order to anticipate and accommodate costumer needs
  • Are responsible for knowledge build-up on calculation tools and materials for non-air applications
  • Take the lead of technical work packages to support our product development process
  • Support test campaigns for gas compressors

In this position you will report to the Hydrogen and Steam Task Force Leader.

Experience requirements:

The successful candidate has a master in Mechanical/Energy engineering or equivalent in experience.

You have a very good knowledge of English. An additional language is considered as a plus.
