Explore our focus on fostering understanding and empowerment through education, crucial in our commitment to creating an inclusive environment where diversity thrives.
We have a saying at Atlas Copco Group: There is always a better way. We are always willing to question and challenge the way we do things. Our goal is not limited to gender diversity but also includes the wider diversity of our colleagues; where they are from, who they are and how they think and work.
Operating at Group level, our Diversity and Inclusion Council, led by our President and CEO Vagner Rego, takes the lead in driving these initiatives. Moreover, within each of our four business areas, dedicated diversity and inclusion committees and passionate ambassadors further our goals. Additionally, recognizing the importance of local context, we have implemented employee resource groups in select countries. These groups play an important role in cultivating an inclusive culture tailored to the needs of specific diversity groups.

Much like our counterparts in the industry, we acknowledge the imperative of enhancing gender diversity across all echelons of our organization. Thus, we've dedicated ourselves to a tangible objective: attaining a 30% representation of women by 2030.
As of 2023, we have achieved a 22% share of female employees by year-end progressing from 19.8% when we launched this goal in 2019, and will continue to work towards our target of 30%.
