Trading and market capitalization

The Atlas Copco AB shares are listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, which represented 22.6% of the total trading of the A share (30.9% of the B share) in 2023. Other markets, so called Multilateral Trading Facilities (MTF), e.g. CBOE accounted for 35.6% (35.4% of the B share), and the remaining 41.8 (33.7% of the B share) were traded outside public markets, for example through over-the-counter trading. The market capitalization at year end 2023 was MSEK 815 902 (586 731) and the company represented 7.8% (6.3) of the total market value of Nasdaq Stockholm. Atlas Copco AB was the first (second) most traded share in 2023 by total turnover. A program for American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) was established in the United States in 1990. One ADR corresponds to one share. The depositary bank is Citibank N.A. At year end 2023, there were 91 670 227 ADRs outstanding, of which 81 072 104 represented A shares and 10 598 123 represented B shares.

Dividend

The Annual General Meeting 2024 approved the Board’s proposal of the dividend of SEK 2.80 per share to be paid for the 2023 fiscal year.

In order to facilitate a more efficient cash management, the dividend will be paid in two instalments, the first with record date April 26, 2024 and the second with record date October 21, 2024. The first installment amount will be SEK 1.40 per share. The second installment amount will be SEK 1.40 per share.
