November 26, 2014
Stockholm, Sweden, November 26, 2014: Atlas Copco, a leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions, won the award for the best Annual Report 2013 among large-cap companies on the NASDAQ stock exchange in Sweden.
The Group’s Annual Report has high precision and pace, and shows that Atlas Copco is a well-run company with orderliness, the jury said. Already in the initial nine pages, Atlas Copco has presented a good summary of results, business, business concept and soul.
The award was presented during a ceremony today in Stockholm. The competition is organized by NASDAQ, accounting trade organization FAR, The Swedish Society of Financial Analysts and The Swedish Association of Communication Professionals.
“Providing our shareholders and other stakeholders with an informative and visually appealing Annual Report that gives good insight into our business from every aspect is very important for us,” said Mattias Olsson, Vice President Investor Relations. “We are very happy about this recognition.”
Since 2012 Atlas Copco’s Annual Report integrates financial, sustainability and governance information in order to describe the Group in a comprehensive and cohesive manner.
Earlier this year Atlas Copco was again included in the annual United Nations Global Compact 100 stock index and the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability stock index. The Group was also ranked number seven globally in the Newsweek Green Rankings, and was recognized by the annual Global 100 list, presented at the World Economic Forum in Davos, as one of the world’s most sustainable companies.
